I WEEK

9-12 Sep We started the course the 9th of september, on the first week teachers introduced us how the course was going to be distributed. They speak about the evaluative challenges we are going to have this year and they introduced us on the first challenge of the course. The term of the first challenge is from september to december and the work to make is a design of a die for a stampation process. Also we started to use the base of Catia, it’s a program for mechanical designing.

The first days of class, they said us to look imformation about dies, because we didnt know anything about them. Gaizka to be sure that will be searching information and learning about it, he decided to do a exam the next week.

He gaves us a chance of doing us the questions of the exam, each group had to do around 20 questions, then Gaizka would choose some of them and putted in the exam. On the first day of class we were assigned by groups and we had to start doing challenge 0. The challenge was to make a bridge with the different materials that the teachers gave us.  We had to make a conceptual map of what we had planned to do in the challenge. Iranzu gave us an explanation of what his subject was about and explained to us through video what we had to do. We also had to search for information about the "DAFO".

The first week of class, we where grouped in groups 0f 4 and told us which table to sit at, then we started the 0 challenge, whith consisted of building a bridge with recycled materials.
Then they presented us with Challenge 1, which consists of designing a progressive die for the manufacture of a part for the automotive industry, ant the last day we had a exam of 20 questions about the die and the tie construction.
