IV WEEK

30 Sep - 4 Oct

In the fourth week of this course, we begin with the theory of shear forces. That theory we need to get the values to make the die. With Richard we did a Reading and a Listening. On Tuesday we had an examination with Gaizka on the theory he had given the previous days. With Julen we began to make the templates in Catia, and then in those templates to get the views
We continued to see theory on cutting forces and bending forces, with julen we continued to make pieces and also began to design the template for the planes in A4, A3 and A2, we also had an exam with gaizka on the theory,on the last day all the students that we are doing dual, we had to make a presentation about what we were doing in the companies.
With nagore we began to use the three-dimensional machine and taught us how to align the pieces to be able to make a program.

With Gaizka we corrected the exam we do it the previous week, about nesting and stamping forming. Lot of people had to repeat the exam because of bad calcifications. On the exam we had to calculate the spacing between the pieces to form and between the metallic sheet limits, the step between consecutive pieces, calculate the best position for material saving and different calculations for the foldings.

The last hours with Nagore we continued practicing the three-dimensional, on tuesdays and fridays are the only days that we finish with her, so when a group is with the three-dimensional they have to another 2 weeks to repeat with it.
In this week people who are in Dual they had to do a presentation about what they are doing in their, and what they learn and what they are going to learn. Also some of them they are studying how to use the three-dimensional, so they have an advantage than others.
